| Drainage
Analysis
W&F’s drainage meter measures slurry thickness
and logs drainage rates and activity. This helps record the rate
and type of drainage on the table, and enables us to compare the
results of changes to the table and fabric design.

| Stroboscopic
Analysis
The powerful strobing light effect provides a
clearer view of forming and drainage activity on your table, and
assists in seeing table changes. It also helps in identifying
places where fabric is ‘slipping’ on the rolls.

Wet-End
Table Status Analysis
- Load distribution
analysis.
- Foil/suction
box top condition analysis.
- Shower position
analysis.
This helps determine the effects of changes
in the table and fabric design and also provides advance information
for table upkeep for fabric life optimization.

Used
Fabric Analysis
This is done in our laboratory. The analysis
reveals possible causes of fabric wear (drag, creep, localized
wear etc.) and helps identify sources of damage. Often, this becomes
a basis for fabric and table design improvements.

Tensiometer
This is an instrument developed by us for measuring
fabric tension on the paper machine. Maintaining correct fabric
tension is critical to obtaining optimum fabric life.

Our Technical staff organizes and conducts training
sessions at your site covering aspects of papermaking as well
as fabric application/design.
